If you want to trigger the "Notification of Acceptance" email to the owner of the abstract, you can use the Final Decision Status option at the end of the page.
There are 4 different abstract status;
Pending: When the abstract submitted by the participant, the system assigns the pending status to every abstract.
Accepted: An acceptance letter will be sent to the participant and system locks the abstract for editing.
Conditionally Accepted: An acceptance letter will be sent to participants and you can add comments to the submitting author for improvements. The system will keep the submitted abstract open for editing. After first save, the system locks the abstract and warns the editor about the update.
Rejected: An rejection email will be sent to the participant.
You can change the status without sending any emails to participants. The system will ask for your approval before sending the emails. You can track the delivery status from participant management section.
