MeetingHand integrates directly with Stripe, allowing event planners to accept a wide variety of online payment methods. One of the most convenient options for U.S.-based attendees is ACH Direct Debit — enabling payments directly from their bank accounts.
Follow the steps below to activate and start using ACH Direct Debit with your Stripe account in MeetingHand.
Step 1: Log in to Your Stripe Dashboard
Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com.
Log in using the same Stripe account that’s connected to your MeetingHand event.
Step 2: Go to Payment Method Settings
In your Stripe Dashboard, navigate to:
Settings → Payments → Payment methods.Scroll down to the Bank debits section.
Find ACH Direct Debit in the list.
Step 3: Activate ACH Direct Debit
Click Turn on or Activate next to ACH Direct Debit.
Review and accept Stripe’s ACH terms and conditions if prompted.
Once activated, ACH Direct Debit will appear as an available payment method in your Stripe account.
Step 4: Confirm Your Business and Bank Account Verification
Stripe may require business verification and a U.S. bank account to enable ACH.
Make sure your Stripe account is fully verified — you can check this under Settings → Business details.
Step 5: Enable ACH in Your MeetingHand Event
Once ACH Direct Debit is active in your Stripe account:
Log in to your MeetingHand Dashboard.
Open your event’s Payment Settings.
Confirm that your Stripe account is connected.

ACH Direct Debit will automatically appear as a payment option for your attendees located in the United States.
Step 6: Test the Payment
Before going live:
Create a test registration in your event.
Choose ACH Direct Debit as the payment method to verify that it works as expected.
Notes & Tips
Supported region: ACH Direct Debit is currently available for customers with U.S. bank accounts.
Processing time: ACH payments can take up to 5 business days to clear.
Fees: ACH Direct Debit transactions often have lower fees than credit card payments — check your Stripe Dashboard for exact rates.
Refunds: Refunds through ACH may take several business days to appear on the attendee’s bank statement.
